"Their Mind" ... from the minds and mouths of babes.

A theory is an attempt at understanding what is. A successful theory is real.

A concept is an attempt at understanding what could be. A successful concept may be real or imaginary.

That said, cursory inspection of the blight that has infected this and other forums, e.g. "Their Mind" ... reveals that it is entirely a concept. And those credited with creating, expressing, and otherwise endorsing TM are conceptualizers, not theoreticians. Mind you, nothing unduly critical is being waged against those favoring concepts over theory in understanding their world. Indeed, conceptualizers have a certain charm about them. Visit any daycare, and you'll inescapably find conceptualizers milling about ... here, there, and everywhere. Crayons, pails, building blocks, rocking horses. Bless their tiny hearts and even smaller world. It is the only world they know. The world of conceptualization. Discovery of the real world occurs much later on.

Carlos Castaneda ... must've been writing with crayons when he scribbled "The Teachings of Don Juan" and other acclaimed conceptual pieces.

“No, they don’t do it that way. That’s idiotic!” don Juan said, smiling. “They are infinitely more efficient and organized than that. “In order to keep us obedient, meek and weak, the predators engaged themselves in a stupendous maneuver- stupendous, of course, from the point of view of a fighting strategist; a horrendous maneuver from the point of view of those who suffer it. They gave us their mind! Do you hear me? The predators give us their mind which becomes our mind. The predators’ mind is baroque, contradictory, morose, and filled with the fear of being discovered any minute now.
